BAIBAI!
For Parents
BAIBAI! is a music action game rated 13+: bouncing balls play famous classical melodies. Here is how we keep it safe for young players.
1. Age check
- After the first run we ask for the player's age (iOS Declared Age Range, or birth year and month). We do not store the birth date.
- Ads and purchases work differently for each age band (under 13 / 13–15 / 16–17 / 18+).
- If different sources disagree, we use the more protective band.
2. Money
- There are no paid loot boxes or paid random items. Coins and sticker packs are earned by playing and cannot be bought.
- All purchases are one-time items whose contents are shown before buying.
| Age band | Monthly spending cap |
|---|---|
| Under 13 | ¥5,000 / US$35 |
| 13–15 | ¥5,000 / US$35 |
| 16–17 | ¥10,000 / US$70 |
| 18+ | Optional, set by the player |
- When the cap is reached, purchase buttons are disabled and the next available date is shown.
- Players under 13 never see purchase suggestions.
- With Family Sharing's "Ask to Buy", every purchase needs your approval. Pending requests do not count toward the cap.
- You can ask Apple for a refund from the in-app purchase history or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3. Ads
- Players under 13 never see full-screen interstitial ads. They only see rewarded ads they choose to watch (fixed rewards, up to 8 per day), requested with child-directed settings (no personalisation).
- Players aged 13–17 are never asked for tracking permission, and ads are limited to age-appropriate content (up to PG).
- There are no banner ads and no app-open ads.
4. Healthy play
- Players under 18 get a break reminder after 60 minutes of continuous play.
- There are no login bonuses or login streak rewards. The Daily Song streak has a weekly rest day.
- We never use countdown sales.
5. Social features
- No chat, friends, messages or posting.
- Leaderboards use Apple Game Center, which you can restrict in Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Highlight videos are made on the device and only leave it when your child taps Share (iOS share sheet). Exporting a video gives a small reward, but posting it is never required.
6. Flashing lights
The game uses flashes and screen shake. Flashes are kept to 3 per second or fewer, and "Reduce flashing" in Settings tones them down further. The game also follows the iPhone's Reduce Motion setting.
